Michael Pegues

Michael Pegues is driving smart city efforts from plan to execution to make the City of Aurora a regional technology hub. Leads the Information Technology (IT) Division, manages the citywide IT strategic plan for technology services that serve all departments and hundreds of thousand direct constituent interactions. Drives processes and technology change in a dynamic and complex operating environment to enhance public administration and safety, promote economic development and civic engagement. Ensures technologies are used to support and advance the priorities of the Mayor's Office, Department Chiefs, Department Heads, and other city and regional leaders.
